Invitation – Compliance Task Force: How to Successfully Implement Your Sapin 2 Compliance Program (Anti-Corruption Part)?

The next meeting of the Compliance Task Force created by the European American Chamber of Commerce Auvergne Rhone-Alps (EACC) in partnership with Soulier Avocats will take place on place on April 9 in the morning at the premises of Boiron France in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon.

This meeting will focus on: “How to Successfully Implement Your Sapin 2 Compliance Program (Anti-Corruption Part)? »

The Sapin 2 Law requires executives of large companies, or companies belonging to groups of a certain size, to implement internal measures aimed at preventing and detecting corruption and influence peddling, both in France and abroad.

Even though companies that do not meet the thresholds defined in Article 17 of the Sapin 2 Law are not legally required to comply, they have everything to gain by adopting such measures. Proactively preventing corruption can strengthen their position with clients (particularly in the context of tenders), maximize financing opportunities, protect their reputation, and improve their governance.

You are subject to the obligations imposed by the Sapin 2 Laws, or are you looking to voluntarily engage in corruption prevention efforts? Do you want to learn about the pitfalls and challenges to avoid when implementing the eight key measures required by the law?

Then this event is for you!

Following an introduction on the latest compliance developments by our Counsel Claire Filliatre, Frédéric Cordel, founder of FCconsulting (www.fcconsulting.company), will share his expertise and practical experience. With over 15 years of experience in major international groups, Frédéric has successfully supported more than 50 organizations in achieving Sapin 2 compliance since 2017.

Through concrete examples, he will highlight the key Do’s and Don’ts in applying the anti-corruption part of the Sapin 2 Law: risk mapping, third-party due diligences, code of conduct, awareness and training programs, and much more.

An event guaranteed to be no-nonsense!
