The Cour de Cassation puts a final end to the “bee case”
In a decision dated May 30, 2012, the Cour de Cassation (French Supreme Court) dismissed the appeal lodged by the civil parties against the judgment of the Toulouse Court of Appeals having confirmed the dismissal of the much publicized bee case, thereby putting a final end to this legal saga.
Jean-Luc Soulier has defended the interests of BASF Agro, the owner of the product at the heart of this case and wrongly called “bee killer”, since the start of the procedure in 2003.
