Towards a full dismissal of charges in the bee case
On June 15, 2008 the Saint-Gaudens Public Prosecutor filed his final conclusions calling for a full dismissal of BASF Agro, Bayer and their respective directors in the high profile criminal case concerning excess mortality among the bee population wrongly attributable to a seed coating product called Régent TS. The investigating judge should render his decision in the coming weeks. BASF Agro, current owner of the Régent TS, is assisted in this procedure by Jean-Luc Soulier.
